LANE COUNTY — The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 28 year old Daniel Oberg out of the Lane County, Oregon area.

Daniel has not been seen since he left for a camping trip on April 22, 2017. His family filed a missing persons report when he failed to return home by April 25, 2017.  His car  was found abandoned in the Marcola area. Daniel may be in the Quartzville Recreation Corridor in Linn County, and was supposed to be with friends and his dogs.

Daniel is described as:

• GENDER: Male.
• HAIR: Medium length brown.
• HEIGHT: 6 feet tall.
• WEIGHT: 160 pounds.
• OTHER: Brown beard.

    There should be more updated information that could be helpful in finding him. I know it might help me to know where to look exactly

      I only post what I have. What you are seeing is what I was given from someone close to the family. If they had that information to give I am sure they would already be looking there or it would have been released. If the family or the police have an update for me then I will move forward as of right now I have not heard from either.

    One dog has been caught, older dog still loose in marcola. Car found in marcola stuck in mud on a hill near milemarker 13. (From what i know) raft/boat missing from the car trunk. Phone pinged in green peter. He has a group dedicated to his search
