BY REQUEST — This missing person was submitted via our submission form and is being created by user request. Although a police report may not have been published, we’ve been informed that police have been made aware of Malina’s disappearance.
SHADY COVE — The missing’s family is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 29 year old Malina Lynn Nickel out of the Shady Cove, Oregon area.
Malina was was last seen at her home on the night of November 23, 2016 by her 18-year-old nephew.
After missing Thanksgiving dinner with her family, Malina didn’t show up to work to pick up her paycheck, and her car was found on the side of the road near the local post office. According to her family, Malina had problems with drugs, but her mother said that she would never leave her children and has never been gone for more than a day. She left her purse and other personal items at home before she went missing.
Malina’s family believes that this case involves human trafficking. Just a couple weeks before she disappeared, she helped two victims of Human Trafficking get into a safe house.
Malina is described as:
• GENDER: Female.
• HAIR: Reddish-brown.
• EYES: Hazel.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 2 inches.
• WEIGHT: 110 pounds.
• OTHER: Usually wears glasses, has a 3 inch scar on abdomen, ears are pierced, and has a piercing in her left nostril. She also has a tattoo of a Chinese symbol on her left ankle.
